A40 Park Plaza Hotel

This project involved the construction of a traditional RC frame seven stories in height of which five floors required a power floated finish to a tolerance of +/- 2mm.

A requirement for an underground hotel sprinkler system adjacent to the site entrance resulted in the need for a sheet piled and framed temporary works system to aid in the construction of the RC tank, the Pudlo Waterproof Concrete system was the preferred method of ensuring a water tight structure.

• 1no. 7 storey Concrete Frame including three lifts shafts and two staircores.

• Temporary Works solution in the form of sheet piling and framed supports to aid the excavation and construction of adjacent RC water tank
